What Should I Expect?
We gather together on Sunday mornings for gospel-centered worship through singing, preaching, praying, and the celebration of communion & baptism. You'll find our services blend a casual atmosphere with a serious passion for Jesus Christ and the Gospel.
Location & Parking
Portico Church's building is located at 981 2nd St SE, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Our church is situated in the IX Complex, about a mile from UVA, with easy access from I-64, and we have plenty of onsite parking.
Portico Kids
Children ages 6 weeks to 5th grade are invited to join Portico Kids, our Sunday morning children's ministry. Classrooms are taught with age appropriate activities and visuals to help them grasp the gospel.

UVA Shuttle
On Sunday mornings, we provide a shuttle service that picks up and drops off to the Aquatic & Fitness Center on UVA grounds during the academic school year. Pick up is at 8:45 AM & 10:45 AM.
