Courtney Dillard serves as PORTICO KIDS Director, leading a vibrant children’s ministry that equips parents to disciple their children in following Jesus. She ensures a loving, safe environment for toddlers through fifth graders, oversees curriculum and resources, and supports PK’s dedicated teachers and volunteers. Her favorite part of the role is learning alongside the kids and caring for little ones each Sunday.

A Charlottesville native, Courtney earned her BA in History from JMU and a Master’s in Elementary Education from UVA, and is licensed to teach Preschool–6th grade in Virginia. She is currently pursuing a certificate in Systematic Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary.

Before joining Portico, Courtney taught at Murray Elementary School from 1994–2022, primarily in fifth grade. She lives in Crozet with her dog, Huckleberry, and enjoys Bible study, pickleball, community life, and time with her son, William Marshall.
