Day of Healing

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, we’ll be holding our third annual Day of Healing event at Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church (105 Lankford Ave.) from 11am-2pm, and we’d love to have you join us! This year’s theme is "Look Up," and our mission is to connect the Church to the community, and the community to Christ. By working together, the Church can better understand the needs of the community and offer support and guidance where needed. Continuing with last year’s values of “Good News, Good Works, Good Times,” Charlottesville area churches will host a day of family-friendly games, free food, haircuts, community partner support, and the good news of the gospel.

Please consider signing up for one of the various serving opportunities listed, including setting up for the event, grilling or serving food, helping at the game or food stations, or directing people to one of the community partners at the event.
