Caitlin Jones serves as the Executive Director at Portico Church, a role she’s held since 2022 after joining the staff team in 2015 as a Pastoral Assistant. She loves working across every ministry to serve the good of the whole church, building relationships, and collaborating with an amazing team.

Caitlin is a born & raised New Englander (Go Red Sox!), spending her childhood in a small coastal Connecticut town. James Madison University brought her to Virginia, and...she never left. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and Administration and greatly enjoyed her time at JMU. After graduating, Caitlin moved to Charlottesville and began attending Portico Church in 2013.

Before stepping into her current role, Caitlin spent several years supporting pastoral and operational work at Portico, which helped shape her deep understanding of church life and leadership.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her exploring National Parks, capturing candid photos, tending to her tiny flower garden, reading on her Kindle, or visiting family in New England. Caitlin co-leads the High School Girls Life Group and enjoys serving in CONNECT as a volunteer.
